Pansukian Tropical Resort Overview

In 1989, 27 year-old Parisian lawyer, Nicolas Rambeau, went in search for his own piece of paradise. He looked around the Philippines and found it on the island of Siargao. At that time, due to the island's remote location, Nicolas was only the third foreigner ever to set foot on Siargao. Nicolas surveyed Siargao and found an amazing area: a coconut plantation nestled between a tranquil lagoon and a mangrove river fringed by forested hills. In 1994, he finally hung up his hat as a lawyer, packed up his life in France and made that permanent move to the Philippines. Without any architectural training, he designed and built a resort that blends harmoniously with its lush, natural surroundings. Nicolas' commitment to his guests is Pansukian Tropical Resort, a secluded, romantic hideaway where one can escape the trappings of the modern world and commune with nature, yet remain safe and comfortable in a tropical environment. In order to achieve this coziness, Nicolas deliberately limited the number of cottages, blending them in a tropical garden. White-sand walkways lead you to precious wooden pagodas adorned with traditional Filipino craftsmanship.

All our cottages have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and queen-sized beds. We now have three types of cottages: The Tropical Villas, the Tropical Pagoda and the Garden Cottages. By early 2005, we hope to convert the last remaining Tropical Pagoda into a Villa. Both the Tropical Villas and Pagoda have hot water available in their showers.

Inclusive in Pansukian's rates are free use of the following; hobie cat, ocean kayaks, snorkeling equipment, volleyball, billards, board and card games, library But we also offer island discovery tours (-- if you're lucky, you may just see a whale shark en route to one of the islands!), surfing expeditions, deep-sea fishing, and SCUBA diving lessons for those looking for a little more excitement!
